Research Collaboration
We have many requests to collaborate on research and sadly most are not possible. We currently support PhD students at University College Cork, Trinity College Dublin, Roehampton University, London and Dublin City University.

Biomechanics Internship:
SSC Sports Medicine offers the opportunity for 6-12 month internships with the Biomechanics team, providing support in all matters related to research projects and service conducted on behalf of the clinic. Biomechanics interns at SSC Sports Medicine are involved in all aspects of the motion analysis process, from preparing patients for data collection to assisting with the production of research outputs. You will gain experience in isokinetic testing, 3D optical motion capture, biomechanical models, data processing and the use of force plates. In addition, we encourage our interns to develop their research skills by contributing to research articles or abstracts. This is ideal preparation for any career in clinical and applied movement analysis, biomechanics research and/or sports performance analysis.
